Myrtle Kilbreath
was born on December 14, 1925 at Marcelin, Saskatchewan and was called home to be with her Lord and Saviour on January 15, 2009 at the age of 83 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by three daughters, Grace (Tom) Hart of Lethbridge, Alberta, Cathie (Bob) Harkness and Elaine (Don) Gallacher of Vernon, BC.; son Len (Joyce) of Vernon BC; a niece who Myrtle raised, Sharron Smith of Whitehorse, Yukon; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers Allen Clarke and Bruce (Helen) Clarke of Buffalo Narrows, Saskatchewan and numerous nieces and nephews.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband Clifford; 3 children, Delbert, Lester and Lois; 9 brothers, Wilfred, Arnold, George, Norman, Walter, Russell, Bill, Ben and Glenn; 3 sisters, Joyce, Bernice and Margarette.
Mom arrived in Uranium City in 1952 and for a time cooked at the D.N.R. road camp. She remained in Uranium City until 1970 during which time she was active in the Evangelical Church. Mom was also the first Tupperware dealer in Uranium City. She fondly remembered her time in Uranium City and enjoyed keeping abreast of old friends through "Friends of Uranium City".
