AUGUST NARCISSE SEEGERTS
Born; January 15, 1933
Passed Away; October 5, 2003
August Narcisse Seegerts passed away on October 5, 2003 at Prince Albert, Sask with his loving family at his side. He died two days after surgery due to complications. He will be sadly missed by wife; Mary Louise, two daughters; Doreen Wilson, Doris Sepp and six sons; Donald, Edward, Raymond, John Paul, Patrick & Charles. He was also survived by 27 grandchildren & 17 great grandchildren. Two brothers; Archie Seegerts & Alphonse Seegerts, and three sisters; Nellie (Baby) Mercredi, Mary Olive Adams & Martha Abraham. Also by numerous nieces and nephews.
August lived in Uranium City his entire life until he moved to Prince Albert in 1982 when the Eldorado mine closed. He has gone back to Uranium City a few times to visit his brother Archie since then. Many will probably remember August as the Imperial Oil Truck driver who deliver heating fuel to many of your homes. He worked for Harvey Villeneuve for many years and then Dennis Classen. My dad missed Uranium City and always talked about his life there.
